The Hannah B.G. Shaw Home offers long term care & custodial care for individuals who no longer can meet their needs at home or who suffer from persistent and/or serious health problems that are too complex to be tended to at home. Individuals enjoy private bedrooms with full private bathrooms in our household model surrounded by attractive indoor and outdoor features promoting health & well-being.

The Hannah B.G. Shaw Home prides itself in the resident-centered approach to care. Rather than just approaching care from a medical perspective, the interdisciplinary team utilizes all resources, including nursing, social services, residents' family, spiritual members, as well as the preferences of the resident. This approach allows us to individualize how each resident is cared for in the Home. This begins upon admission where we encourage all individuals to bring their furniture and belongings from home (except bed) when entering our community. It makes the transition much easier and promotes a homelike atmosphere giving each room its own personal touch.
